Allison Lucas is an Emmy award-winning, passionate, and driven creative professional working in Washington, DC. She currently works at The Field School, where she oversees the production of creative assets used to promote the school to the wider community.

Previously, she worked at the Office of Science where she developed a small video production team to create visual content to promote new research.

She also led the team behind the award-winning 11PM newscast at WUSA9 News, the flagship CBS-affiliate at Tegna. Allison also worked at WPBF 25 News in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida where she spent three years covering major national stories on a local level. She was immersed in national, state, and local politics, the 2016 Presidential election, two major hurricanes, the mass shooting at the Orlando nightclub and the devastating massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, in Parkland, Florida.

​Allison is a proud alumna of the communications school at Elon University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and a minor in international studies.
